Every summer everyone is always busy, with various things such as vacations, church trips or other school activities. Every year the Logan County FFA Chapter takes a week out of summer to attend the Kentucky FFA leadership Training center in Hardinsburg.

During this week, the officers attend classes based on things that interest them. Along with interest classes, many attend leadership classes and officer classes to help develop skills to be used though out the year.

There are many things that can be taken away and used back in the Chapter from this week at camp. Officers learn how to step up and get things done along with just how to be a friend to one another.

At camp every student is being watched in their classes and activities to have a chance at earning a leadership award at the end of the week. Logan County was blessed in having six students receive leadership awards. Those students were Nick Stewart, Wesley Hadden, Morgan Hunt, Brianna Wooden, and Wesley Estes. Wesley Estes received the outstanding leadership award; also Wesley had a chance to serve on the Camp Council all week.

During the week there are always sports activities that each chapter competes in, and Logan County had the honor of winning waterball.

Overall the Logan County FFA Chapter had an outstanding week at the KYTLC, and we look forward to having a great year!
