As is their usual custom, to spur Stevenson Elementary students to excel during testing week, First Southern Bank visited the campus Monday with their “money-blowing” machine to allow students who had scored well last year to have their chance at grasping those dollars.
First at her turn, Eden West collected $28! Three other high test scoring recipients each had their turns: A.J. Taylor, $28; Gracie Belew, $28; & Kimmari Ferguson, $26.
Then, fourth grade teacher Jessica Preston collected a whopping $367!
First Southern representatives were Tracey Gilbert, Betty Lou Wright, Bryan Fuller, and Steve Croft!
