A special thanks to the assistant principals, counselors, Mrs. Marissa Hopkins, and Ms. Jama Richardson for making breakfast for the sophomores and the staff members Friday morning and to Ms. Ashley Skipworth, Ms. Breanna White, and Ms. Amanda Glover for helping serve. We talked to the sophomores this morning during breakfast about staying the course for the last nine weeks. We applauded them for demonstrating growth throughout the year and encouraged them to maintain their focus for the fourth quarter and to continue to meet the high expectations we have for them.
We believe that celebrating student and staff accomplishments is vital to our positive school culture.
Early release Friday
Our next ERF is next Friday (March 16). LCHS students will be dismissed at 1 p.m. that day so high school and middle school teachers can plan instruction together.
Scheduling update
The counselors are going to postpone going into classrooms to discuss classes for next year until after spring break and scheduling individual appointments until the end of April/first of May due to the state budget delay and EOC testing being April 16-27 this year. Details will be provided as they become available.
