Congratulations to the Lady Cougars on a fantastic ending in the Championship game last night with Franklin-Simpson!! The Lady Cougars are now 13th District Softball Champions and will play next week in the 4th Region Softball Tournament at WKU. The tournament draw will be this Saturday. As soon as the draw is over I will send out the complete bracket. Congratulations to our girls and coaches.
Congratulations to the Baseball Cougars for advancing to the 4th Region Baseball Tournament at WKU next week. The Cougars are 13th District Runner-Ups and we wish them luck at region. Their draw will also be Saturday.
I wanted to thank all the LC coaches and boosters that pitched in to help make this a successful tournament. Without their efforts, we would not have such a great tournament that ran so smooth. Thanks again to all the boosters that dumped trash, put up signs, painted dugouts, and so much more over the past few weeks.
A special thanks to Don Basham and Jon Barrow......you guys are the best. Thanks for pitching in and the hours you committed to your respective teams. What a difference you made!
