The Russellville-Logan County NAACP will sponsor the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. celebration on Saturday, Jan. 14, beginning at 9 a.m. The event will be in the K of P Hall, 428 East 5th Street, Russellville. A traditional breakfast will be served and we are asking for a donation of $7.
The guest speaker will be Rev. Dr. M. O. Fort from Hopkinsville. He has been the proud Pastor of Virginia Street Baptist Church in Hopkinsville since1995. In 2006, he was named the President of the Hopkinsville Bible College where he is also an nstructor. Rev. Dr. Fort has many more accolades on his resume.
We ask you to come visit our program and receive the message he will present to honor Dr. King’s legacy.
