Please go to the website www.mymailmatters.com to obtain the names and addresses of the officials to contact to state that you protest the closing of this facility. They are doing a study at this time to determine if it should be closed. If they decide to do this, our mail will go to Nashville first and then be sent to our area post offices for delivery to our home or business.

Mail which comes from Tennessee to us now takes approximately four to five days. If this transition takes place, our mail will be delayed several days and will be more likely to be lost.

In addition, the people who work at this facility will lose their positions and will have to take jobs elsewhere. People who have been on these jobs for years do not wish to be forced to sell their houses and move to other states or other counties in Kentucky. In this time of unrest regarding the economy, these workers do not need to have their jobs taken from them.

Please help these workers and help keep your mail coming from Bowling Green rather than Nashville.
Your help in this matter will be appreciated.
