We are very excited to announce the naming of our new RHS Panther Cheer Coaches, Beth Canler and Shanon Leavell!!!
Coach Beth Canler was a cheerleader throughout her time as a middle and high school student. Currently, Coach Canler works as a Special Education Teacher at Russellville Middle School and last year served as an RMS Cheer Coach.
Coach Canler says, "Serving in that role fueled my love for cheer again. I am so excited to be the cheer coach for RHS. Cheerleaders are a big part of bringing the spirit to the field and court and I cannot wait to bring that Black and Gold Panther Pride back."
Coach Shanon Leavell is an RHS alumni (Class of 2000) and was a member of the RHS Cheer Squad throughout her time in school. Coach Shanon is currently the School Nurse for Russellville middle and high schools. In regard to accepting the position,
Coach Shanon says, "I am ecstatic to accept the position as one of the new high school cheer coaches. As an RHS alum, nothing makes me more excited than not only to work in the school system, but also be a part of a program that helped build me. Time to bring that Panther Pride alive!"
