Twenty-five athletes on 23 teams in 14 sports will be honored by Lewisburg Banking Company and Logan County High School early Monday morning.
Athletic Director Greg Howard said in a press release: :”Logan County High School is proud to announce the following students have been selected to receive the Annual Lewisburg Banking Company's Student Athlete of the Year award for their respective sports.
“They will be recognized Monday at 8 a.m.in the front lobby by the bank and will receive certificates and t-shirts.”
The announcement doesn’t say who made the selections in each sport.
The lone athlete to be chosen twice is Sam Larson, who was named the top male runner in both cross country and track.
Five athletes will also be honored as Triple Threats for playing a sport in each of the three seasons—fall, winter and spring. Two of them, Aubreana Evans and Kade Wall, are also MVPs

Tennis: Taylor Corbin and Sarah Howard
Volleyball: Aubrey Sears
Basketball: Gracie Borders and Kade Wall
Archery: Isaac Stanley and Kinsey Hayes
Bass Fishing: Kamdyn Coomer and Landyn Gorrell

Coach Howard also reports: “We are proud to also recognize the following student-athletes for earning the KHSAA Triple Threat Award. These athletes earned this recognition by participating in all three seasons of athletic competition.
“They too, will also be given a certificate Monday morning and have their photos taken.”
