Adairville School is pleased to announce the selection of Kristina Rice as the new principal. Rice began her career as a high school Language Arts teacher at LaRue County High School in 2004. In 2005, she moved to Logan County High School as a Language Arts teacher for five years. She served as a district curriculum coordinator at the Logan County Board of Education for three years before becoming the assistant principal at Auburn School for two years.
Rice graduated from WKU in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Allied Language Arts. Continuing at WKU, she earned her Master’s in English and a Rank I in Instructional Leadership.
Rice is very excited about being selected as the Adairville principal: “Adairville School is known for a tradition of excellence, and I look forward to getting to know the Adairville community and being a part of that tradition. I know it’s going to be a great school year, and I can’t wait for it to get started.”
Logan County Schools superintendent Dr. Kevin Hub says, “Kristina Rice has been an outstanding assistant principal in Logan County for two years. It was only a matter of time before a SBDM Council made her their choice for principal. She brings a wealth of skills and experience to the role of principal. We are excited about her addition to the principal leadership team in Logan County.”
Rice lives in Bowling Green with her husband Andrew.
