The Logan County Conservation District and NRCS are planning to have a no-till and strip-till tobacco tour this Thursday from 8 a.m.-noon. “We will be traveling to six farms in Logan County to look at the tobacco and talk with local farmers about their experiences,” says Craig Givens of NCRS in Logan County.
The tour consists of several stops in South and North Logan County to observe no-till and strip till tobacco operations of local producers.
Those wishing to participate should meet at Schochoh Community Center, located at 3720 Schochoh Rd., Adairville, by 8:00 to depart for the tour.
Field Day Tour will conclude around 12 p.m. The group will return to Russellville where lunch will be provided for participants by the Conservation District.
