Neither team could score in the final 23 minutes of the match Saturday as visiting Muhlenberg County and Logan County played to a 2-2 tie in boys soccer.

The Logan County Cougars got their 2015 season off to a good start Tuesday by beating visiting Butler County 6-4.
Sedale Shannon scored two goals, one in each half. The goal that proved to be the game-winner came from Erik Williams 5:45 into the second half.

Gerald Sinclair, who coached basketball at four Logan County high schools including leading the Logan County Cougars to the Kentucky state championship in 1984, died in his Clarksville home Tuesday. He had been suffering from a brain tumor and had been under the care of hospice for a few weeks.
